The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area on a sassa status check daily basis. The provider place designed for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to help the servicing of all clients and enhance entry to Social Assistance products and services,” status sassa the agency said.
